Mieli v\u00e4syy, jos ajattelet koko matkaa kerralla.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sinne sopii ajattelutapa <strong>&#8220;seuraava askel<\/strong>, s<strong>euraava tauko<\/strong>, s<strong>euraava h\u00f6rppy vett\u00e4<\/strong>&#8220;&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aavikon hiljaisuus on &#8220;voimakas&#8221;. The mind gets exhausted if you think about the entire journey at once.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That\u2019s where the mindset of \u201cthe next step, the next break, the next sip of water\u201d fits in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The silence of the desert is powerful. That\u2019s why, even here in Finland, I spend a lot of time without stimuli (no music, no phone).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When the body gets tired, the mind starts negotiating for giving up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You have to accept the thought: \u201cI will fall apart, but I will keep going.\u201d There will be moments when motivation disappears completely, but that\u2019s not a crisis \u2014 it\u2019s an expected phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Preparation means not waiting for a \u201cgood feeling\u201d in order to continue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing creates the feeling, not the other way around.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A tired mind lies, so all major decisions are made when fed and rested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Now I\u2019m heading into the home forest, walking on snowshoes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Syksyll\u00e4 se taas koittaa, uusi seikkailu.
