P\u00e4iv\u00e4lleen 23 vuotta sitten sanoin perinteisille duuneille ” moido ” ja aloin vain juoksemaan,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Olihan alussa tosi outoa, ett\u00e4 en l\u00e4htenyt aamulla -muiden tapaan- t\u00f6ihin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kipuilin aluksi sen verran, ett\u00e4 tein yhdelle mainostoimistolle v\u00e4h\u00e4n aikaa hommia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sen j\u00e4lkeen aloitin uran Kustannus Oy Juoksijassa, mutta se ei ollut perinteinen palkkaty\u00f6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

T\u00e4rkeint\u00e4 oli, ett\u00e4 sain ja saan menn\u00e4 juoksemaan \/ harjoittelemaan silloin kuin haluan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ja edelleen haluan…. v\u00e4hint\u00e4\u00e4n yht\u00e4 paljon kuin 23 vuotta sitten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se oli siis oikea ratkaisu enk\u00e4 ole katunut sit\u00e4 p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4\u00e4n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Otin eilen oheisen kuvan takapihamme kallioalueesta. Nyt on talvi parhaimmillaan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exactly 23 years ago, I said \u201cbye-bye\u201d to traditional jobs and started just running.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At first, it felt really strange not heading to work in the mornings like everyone else.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I struggled with it enough in the beginning that I did some work for an advertising agency for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After that, I started a career with Juoksija Publishing Ltd., but it wasn\u2019t a traditional salaried job.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The most important thing was that I could\u2014and still can\u2014go running \/ training whenever I want.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And I still want to\u2026 at least as much as I did 23 years ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So it was the right decision, and I haven\u2019t regretted it for a single day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I took the attached photo yesterday in the rocky area of our backyard. Winter is at its very best now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
