Suomen korkein kohta sijaitsee Haltin rinteell\u00e4, l\u00e4hell\u00e4 rajaa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nimi <strong>Halti<\/strong> tulee saamen kielest\u00e4 ja viittaa henkiin tai haltijoihin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Olin kev\u00e4\u00e4ll\u00e4 2019 ylitt\u00e4m\u00e4ss\u00e4 Gr\u00f6nlannin mannerj\u00e4\u00e4tikk\u00f6\u00e4 yhdess\u00e4 Antti Siltalan sek\u00e4 inuiittien Salo ja Larsin kanssa.<a href=\"https:\/\/outdoorartisans.fi\/our-story\">https:\/\/outdoorartisans.fi\/our-story<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juttelimme j\u00e4\u00e4tikk\u00f6seikkailun aikana mahdollisista muistakin projekteista ja er\u00e4\u00e4n\u00e4 vaihtoehtona nousi esille Haltin huiputus yhdess\u00e4 asiakkaiden kanssa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parin edellisen vuoden aikana on ollut enemm\u00e4n puhetta kuin tekoja, joten heti Vatnaj\u00f6kull- j\u00e4\u00e4tikk\u00f6juoksu j\u00e4lkeen tein p\u00e4\u00e4t\u00f6ksen, nyt t\u00e4m\u00e4 hanke pistet\u00e4\u00e4n tulille.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Huhtikuussa 2026 se viimein toteutuu<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Antin lis\u00e4ksi reissuun l\u00e4htee mukaan puolisoni (vuorijuoksija) Kirsi sek\u00e4 naapurimme Heikki Kiili, joka toimii opettajana Solvallan Urheiluopistossa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Tavoitteena on, ett\u00e4 valmennamme Heikin kanssa ensi vuodelle (2027) ryhm\u00e4n, jonka kanssa l\u00e4hdemme huiputtamaan Haltia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sit\u00e4 ennen on hyv\u00e4 tutustua Haltin maastoon ja muihin olosuhteisiin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*******************************************************************************************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Halti is the highest fell in Finland and is located in the K\u00e4sivarsi region of Lapland, in the municipality of Enonteki\u00f6, right on the border between Finland and Norway.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/fi.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halti\">https:\/\/fi.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halti<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The highest peak of Halti is on the Norwegian side (slightly over 1,300 meters above sea level). Finland\u2019s highest point is located on the slope of Halti, close to the border.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The name <em>Halti<\/em> comes from the S\u00e1mi language and refers to spirits or guardians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the spring of 2019, I was crossing the Greenland ice sheet together with Antti Siltala and the Inuit Salo and Lars.<br><a href=\"https:\/\/outdoorartisans.fi\/our-story\">https:\/\/outdoorartisans.fi\/our-story<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the glacier expedition, we discussed possible future projects, and one option that came up was summiting Halti together with clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over the past couple of years,<strong> there has been more talk than action<\/strong>, so immediately after the Vatnaj\u00f6kull glacier run I made the decision to put this project into motion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>In April 2026, it will finally take place.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to Antti, my spouse Kirsi (a mountain runner) will join the trip, as well as our neighbor Heikki Kiili, who works as a teacher at the Solvalla Sports Institute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The goal is for Heikki and me to coach a group for next year (2027), with whom we will set out to summit Halti.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Before that, it is important to become familiar with Halti\u2019s terrain and other conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Halti on Suomen korkein tunturi ja sijaitsee K\u00e4sivarren Lapissa, Enonteki\u00f6n kunnassa, aivan Suomen ja Norjan rajalla.https:\/\/fi.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Halti Haltin korkein huippu on Norjan puolella (hieman yli 1300 m mpy).
