{"id":22077,"date":"2025-12-13T05:23:20","date_gmt":"2025-12-13T05:23:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sportman.fi\/?p=22077"},"modified":"2025-12-13T05:23:23","modified_gmt":"2025-12-13T05:23:23","slug":"direction-quantity-quality-suunta-maara-laatu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sportman.fi\/index.php\/2025\/12\/13\/direction-quantity-quality-suunta-maara-laatu\/","title":{"rendered":"Direction\/Quantity\/Quality &#8211; Suunta\/M\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\/Laatu"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Those who work in business management and\/or sales have, over the course of their careers, become familiar with the triangle of <em>direction, quantity and quality<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These three are said to create a comprehensive approach to <strong>success when combined.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I once wrote an article on this topic for a magazine, looking at it from an athlete\u2019s perspective.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the business world, <em>direction<\/em> can be summed up in one word: <strong>strategy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Without a clear direction, my training easily becomes messy and fails to lead me toward peak performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So\u2026 what is the training actually aiming for?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What performance level am I targeting?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And by what methods will I try to reach it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I need to find answers to these questions, otherwise the training becomes aimless chaos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Quantity<\/em> in this context refers to training volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is\u2026 weekly hours and kilometers, repetitions and sets in mobility and strength training, as well as the frequency of workouts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last, but definitely not least: <em>quality<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clean running and training technique, recovery and nutrition, and&#8230;my personal favorite.. <strong>the level of focus and the mental state that supports high-quality work<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>High quantity + poor quality = inefficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A couple of days ago I wrote that I\u2019m aiming for a weekly goal of 1,000 push-ups, but now that I\u2019ve taken a closer look at proper push-up technique, I\u2019ve realized that I\u2019ve only been doing them about 95% correctly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I still intend to reach 100% execution, so I\u2019ll fix the quality first and only after that will I start pursuing those high numbers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>********************************************************************************************************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He, jotka ovat tekemisiss\u00e4 yritysjohtamisen ja\/tai myynnin kanssa, ovat tutustuneet uransa aikana kolmioon &#8220;suunta, m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 ja laatu&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Niiden sanotaan luovan yhdess\u00e4 kokonaisvaltaisen l\u00e4hestymistavan menestykseen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kirjoitin t\u00e4st\u00e4 aiheesta artikkelin johonkin lehteen urheilijan n\u00e4k\u00f6kulmasta katsottuna.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yritysmaailmassa <strong>suunta<\/strong> tarkoittaa yhdell\u00e4 sanalla ilmaistuna &#8220;strategiaa&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ilman selke\u00e4\u00e4 suuntaa minun harjoittelu j\u00e4\u00e4 helposti <strong>sekavaksi eik\u00e4 johda kohti huippukuntoa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siis&#8230;mit\u00e4 kohti harjoittelu kulkee? <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit\u00e4 suoritustasoa tavoittelen?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ja mill\u00e4 menetelmill\u00e4 siihen pyrit\u00e4\u00e4n?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e4ihin kysymyksiin minun on l\u00f6ydett\u00e4v\u00e4 vastaus, muuten harjoittelusta tulee p\u00e4\u00e4m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4t\u00f6nt\u00e4 sekoilua.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>M\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4ll\u00e4 tarkoitetaan<\/strong> t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tapauksessa <strong>harjoittelun volyymia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siis&#8230;.tunti-ja kilometrim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4t viikossa, Toistot ja sarjat liikkuvuus-ja voimaharjoittelussa sek\u00e4 harjoitusten tiheys.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last, mutta ei todellakaan least, <strong>laatu!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Juoksu-ja muun harjoittelun puhtaus, palautuminen ja ravinto sek\u00e4 (lempiaiheeni), <strong>keskittymisen taso ja laadukas tekemisen mielentila<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suuri m\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4 + huono laatu = tehottomuus<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kirjoitin tuossa pari p\u00e4iv\u00e4\u00e4 sitten, ett\u00e4 tavoittelen 1000 punnerruksen viikkom\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4\u00e4, mutta nyt kun olen tutustunut punnerrustekniikkaan paremmin, niin huomaan tekev\u00e4ni liikkeet vain 95% oikein.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aion kuitenkin pyrki\u00e4 100% suoritukseen, joten pist\u00e4n ensiksi laadun kuntoon ja vasta sen j\u00e4lkeen l\u00e4hden tavoittelemaan niit\u00e4 m\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Those who work in business management and\/or sales have, over the course of their careers, become familiar with the triangle of direction, quantity and quality.
