Why, oh why, would you do something so foolish. ?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Minun vastaus on yht\u00e4 lyhyt\u2026\u201dmiksip\u00e4 ei\u201d. Why not?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kannustan heitt\u00e4ytym\u00e4\u00e4n johonkin uuteen ja ehk\u00e4 oudolta tuntuvaan asiaan ja sanomaan rohkeasti \u201cmiksip\u00e4 ei?\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Olen tavannut muutaman kerran Sitran entisen yliasiamiehen Mikko Kososen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joskus on istuttu neukkarissa, joskus k\u00e4yty lenkill\u00e4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00e4n antoi minulle kirjan nimelt\u00e4 &#8220;Nopea strategia&#8221;, jonka otin mukaan Etel\u00e4mantereellekin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kososen mukaan &#8220;yritykset eiv\u00e4t suinkaan kuole siihen, ett\u00e4 tekev\u00e4t v\u00e4\u00e4ri\u00e4 asioita, vaan siihen, ett\u00e4 ne jatkavat aikanaan oikeiden asioiden tekemist\u00e4 liian pitk\u00e4\u00e4n&#8221;.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mielest\u00e4ni Suomi ja me suomalaiset olemme olleet t\u00e4ss\u00e4 tilanteessa. Many come to talk to me after my performance and ask, \u201cWhy, oh why, would you do something so foolish&#8221;?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My answer is just as short\u2026 \u201cwhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I encourage people to throw themselves into something new and maybe a bit strange, and to boldly say, \u201cwhy not?\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve met Mr. Mikko Kosonen, Sitra\u2019s (Finnish Innovation Fund) former President, a few times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes we\u2019ve sat in a meeting room, sometimes we\u2019ve gone for a run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He gave me a book called <em>Fast Strategy<\/em>, which I even took with me to Antarctica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Mr. Kosonen, \u201c<strong>companies don\u2019t die because they do the wrong things, but because they keep doing what used to be the right things for far too long.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In my view, Finland and we Finns have been in this situation.
